Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My CD changer is no longer connected to the head unit and I forgot to remove the CDs before having the new head unit installed :wall: :wall: Any ideas how to get them out?

POST 2Original post

I would laugh but I did exactly the same thing. Ended up taking it out of the car and splitting the unit to get the CDs out, pain in the arse and fiddly. I did try cabling some power to it but wasn't successful. I don't know why I bothered I'm not even sure if I have a CD player any more.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'd have hoped it being powered would have been enough!!
