Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

While I love my mid years ROW Targa, and I get a kick out of wrenching the 450Sl...I covet the 996 Turbo! To that end I have decided to take my lust to another level and begin a search for that ever elusive beast. My requirements are exact...which provides zero wiggle room on negotiations. I shall ignore the ones who say what I want is unrealistic, pathetic, ridiculous or stupid. Your opinions and your butt holes are important...to you, not me So here is what I want: 996 Turbo, Cabriolet, Automatic, Lapis Blue, Saddle Interior... I have been lurking for months. I am sure it is out there and I am willing to wait... Are there any 996 Turbo cab owners on that can share stories of their love affair with this beast?

M.D., I must say I just love my recently acquired 997TT! It is a BEAST for sure! It sounds like you're stuck on your exterior/interior colour combination....BUT, fwiw, autoone.ca in Vancouver...where I bought my 997TT...has a nice black/black 996TT cab listed....check it out M.D.! Cheers!

MD, yes it appears to be a tip. If you're interested contact Colin Cuthbert: [email removed] I've never actually met him as all my contacts with him were via email and phone, but he was really easy and fair to deal with. They took my C4S in trade sight unseen (you'll see it listed above the 996TT on their website) and I am super happy, .....let's say happy, happy, happy!...with my 997TT! Cheers!

Thanks Alex! That would be a very cool road trip to Dallas!!!

POST 7Original post

That would be an absolutely awesome road trip in a cab! I would extend your trip and explore parts of the interior of BC. There are some beautiful drives there especially down the Okanagan via Vernon, Kelowna, Penticton, and Osoyoos....and some fantastic wine country with many famous Canadian wineries all within close proximity....the Okanagan Valley is the Sonoma of the north! Keep us posted MD! I believe the 996TT has been listed on their site for at least two months fwiw. Cheers!

Are you looking at a tip because of stop and go traffic? The 996TT is an amazing vehicle. Fair warning though. If you are the DIY type, the temptation to do some modifications can be strong.
