feedback and input is needed...... Election for the Porsche Owners Club (POC), a S. California Driving Club, Board of Directors were held earlier this month. I ran for a seat, and was successful in this (Be careful what you wish for!). It appears my responsibilities will be focused around promotion of the POC Short Track Series (STS) and the POC Solo Sprint Series (SSS) aka Time Trials. I am looking for ideas from POC members, and those drivers that frequent the track with other Clubs such as PCA, Alfa Club, the Pantera Club, etc. 1. If you have not done a POC STS continuous lab event, and you want some track experience, what is holding you back? 2. For those that have attended a recent POC event, how can the STS and SSS events be improved? 3. Do you know of any SoCal venues where we can hold a STS continuous laps event? 4. If you have not yet entered a Time Trial, what has been holding you back? 5. Any general suggestions you have: I will read your Rennlist response. However feel free to send me an e-mail rather than clutter up Rennlist [email removed] Best regards, Martin Schacht POC Board of Directors

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I just sent you an e-mail (ok, this is a thinly disguised bump)
Here's a simple suggestion. When the times are posted, drivers have no idea who the other drivers are in their class, so us competitive types don't really know how we're doing vs. the other drivers in our class. A list of the classes and what driver is in each class posted at the beginning of the event would ease my pain... I would also suggest a beginners class/event for sts drivers that want to move up to time trials, just to ease them into it. I'm ready to take that step but really don't know what more it will involve for me and my car. Overall I'm thrilled with POC and the STS series. Thanks and good luck with your new position!!

This has been one of my personal beefs for a long time...I knew it was like a burr under the saddle, but I just let it go, bad move. I should have focused on the issue. I will do my best to have the car numbers and classes on a list, and INSIST that car classes be on the cars as well as numbers! He adds, "I would also suggest a beginners class/event for sts drivers that want to move up to time trials, just to ease them into it. We had a Tech session on this very topic last January...hmmmm, maybe we should do it again...let me write this one down too! Send me an e-mail and we can get into direct communication on this topic: [email removed] And concludes with, "Overall I'm thrilled with POC and the STS series. Thanks and good luck with your new position!!" The past few days, since the initial Rennlist post, I have received incredible feedback, either on the Board or in private messages/e-mails. Thank you EVERY DAY , and thanks to all who have responded. POC is going top have one incredible year with your support.
