Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

i picked up an '08 brochure the other day and while looking through the options , i saw a pic of the "passive handset". it looks like an early 90's car phone .does anyone have this option ? does it work in tandem with your existing cell phone ?

POST 2Original post

My understanding: Like the other cell phone option (speakerphone) you have to put your sim card into the PCM to use it. Great if you have two sim cards, or only have one but want to leave it in there all day. Not so great if your sim card is difficult to get at in your cellphone, or if you are in and out of your car all day. I'm waiting for the Piloti shoe phone. ==RedEye
