Having read lots of posts re engine rebuilds due to bore scoring and IMS issues, also following the likes of Mister Corn and ELA's marathon projects got to thinking if any one had done or considered fitting an air cooled engine into a 996? Would it be feasible , cost effective etc.
Why would you want to put the engine out of a decent looking car into one with inferior looks that has a more powerful engine in it?
