This is some amazing footage as well as test. An Aston Martin Vantage V8 vs a BMW M5 vs 997 Carrera S. You won't belive what this "under horsepowered" car does....

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Great clip - I saw the original airing of the show when these guys were on cable. To correct what I assume is a typo, it's an M6, not an M5. Cheers.
You are correct M6..
that always makes me happy
The best motoring show, in the world, EVER!
Nice video. They sound like three old women complaining...lol
great vid.... thanks....

bah, too late, it's been removed...
Whilst the video clip has been removed, that sounds very much like the comparison done by the infamous UK motoring show called Top Gear. It is an awesome show (probably by far the best motoring show on earth), and has a fair bit of Porsche coverage (one of the guys, Richard Hammond, is a serious Porsche fan). Sometimes Discovery runs a US version of the show, strangely in which episodes are a cut-n-paste of various segments from different episodes of the UK edition, and dumbed-down (they show the USD equivalents on screen whenever a GBP amount is mentioned, or the imperial equivalent of any metric value mentioned) To summarize, some of the awesome segments containing Porsches that have appeared: - How much Porsche can you purchase for GBP1500? - 2WD vs 4WD (in order to settle a long running dispute, they time a Carerra 2 and Carerra 4 around an indoor arena in Wales (as a feature spot during the UK leg of the WRC)) - Porsche Coxster (which is what they called the Cayman, in their words 'A Boxster with a Roof', and were dissappointed that the car was 'not designed to be the best it could be', because Porsche 'forced' it to be slotted precisely between the Boxster and the Carrera. - Track Specialists: GT3 RS (996) vs. Ferrari Challenge Stradale I could ramble on, but it serious is a fantastic show (I have seen every episode of all 8 seasons)

Peak horsepower is just such a ridiculous way to compare the potential performance of one car to another. Especially now that, like in the late 60s, it's become a marketing thing. Thanks for posting!
I think it may be the best show on TV period.
Porsche UBER ALLES!!! Isn't it funny...the smallest engine..but because of 40+years of development Porsche still kicks ***!!
