I'm starting to get into paint prep stages for a full respray. I know the windscreen is bonded in but can anyone tell if the rubbers can be removed around it so I can paint to the edge of the screen? Same question goes for the rear window. I know I'll have to remove the side windows but that shouldn't be an issue

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I'm not sure about the rear window trim and also interested to know for sure as mine is peeling and needs changing, but the windscreen trim can be removed without removing the screen. It' a u-shape that presses onto and around the edge of the screen.
The rear looks the same. You can buy the front new but they're a daft price for a piece of rubber that can be bonded back in. My front is loose but the rears tight
