Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Somehow I managed to lose the filler cap for the windscreen washer reservoir on my pre-facelift 996. Can't quite imagine how I lost it, but does anyone know the part number, or how you find the part number, or a source of them? I've looked on the top 4 or 5 Porsche parts websites I found on the web, but I couldn't find that part on any of them. Thanks, Steve

POST 5Original post

and thanks Richard H at least there's one thing that we now know doesn't cost a fortune to replace

If you don't want to invalidate your warranty you will need to get an OPC to fit the part. A snip at £75 for labour.
