Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

From the USPS lady...delivered to my front door.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Seriously though, I got it from DCT Motorsports.

POST 6Original post

Too bad the bottom got squashed in shipping...

Looks sharp. The steering wheel in the Boxster is just okay. The VW GTI has a better steering wheel IMO.

POST 8Original post

Nice little addition there Captain! Nothing better than having a thick/heavy/strong wheel to hold onto. Feeling is completely different.... I have a very similar heavy wheel. I'd get a strong chemical (DRANO?!) and leave it on the airbag leather overnight so the gloss goes away. You need that matte black imo

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Let's see a pic of your wheel Fred. And that's leather dressing slathered all over the airbag cover. I drench everything.

POST 13Original post

That's my wheel. I need a new crest for it. Mines slightly worn.

Yes. That's my stock wheel.

POST 18Original post

Nice heliguy! I've never given much thought to my steering wheel, but yours looks great.

POST 19Original post

If someone could make the rim of a Mk5 GTI steering wheel fit the 986 wheel base (so the airbag would fit), I'd be in heaven.

POST 20Original post

Nine8Six - Is that a FVD Brombacher wheel? I noticed one for sale recently. It is a pretty pricey wheel. Is it worth it?
