Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

I recently swapped out the dying battery in my 2009 CS and I’m now receiving at least a couple errors. One is a “Warning Battery/generator” message that displays under the tach after I start the engine and the other is a bit more concerning, the 0016 Fault Code of Position if crankshaft with respect to intake camshaft, bank 1 No signal/communication when I plug in my Durametric. The car idles high at about 1,500 rpm but seems to drive fine otherwise. Please advise.

POST 2Original post

If those issues came immediately after the battery change over, then it's likely related to that change. Failing batteries cause all kinds of explainable error messages and/or electrical malfunctions as often do battery changing. I suggest you have the errors cleared as a first step and then go from there. Good luck and Keep us posted.
