I found out yesterday that if you back up just so from a perfectly sloping driveway to the street, it is possible to remove the front spoiler with one motion, hands free. It also goes back into place easily, by gently pushing hard formed plastic shapes into holes in the front of the bumper cap, everything aligning perfectly due to the guide tabs at the ends that fit in retangular holes under in the bottom of the cap. I am only half surprised that Porsche didnt make the rear cap similarly "quick release" given the need for R&R for easy access to service the engine. Would be the ultimate trick for the keyless entry option!

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Well that's good to know. I presently have a tentative order in on a 991S coupe and still undecided to sport PASM or not. Of the three examples that I have seen so far with just a few miles on each,...all had front spoiler mishaps or major scrapes. It would have been nice if Porsche would have included some sort of front lift option with it. At least it will prove to be pretty easily replaceable!.....wonder if they come in like 6 packs or something
LOL re 6 packs. The spoiler bottom (out of sight ) is scuffed is all. It is quite flexibe apart from the attachment tabs. The real advantage of PASM Sport- lower stiffer springs and heavier sways- felt substantial to me on test drives and I have confirmed the performance at the track. There is no real disadvantage in ride suppleness. Still, 991s handle so well that on the street it makes no appreciable difference. The thing that sold me was that combined with 5mm spacers, the look is just so sweet it is worth the extra caution.
