Hi everyone .. Been travelling lately but amidst all of my travels managed to pick up the new CS 997.2 last thursday. Have driven it only about 3-4 times since it is not my primary commute car. Got 17.5K off the MSRP of $104.2K with decent options .. Basalt Black Metallic and Sand Beige Interior Will post some pictures soon and probably some questions for the MT drivers on safe rev'ing during break in period if there is such a thing !! Thx for the advice and suggestions ....
Congrats and welcome to the dark side! Cant wait to see pics. Very surprised that you found a new 997.2 - most have miles on them by now.
Sounds great. For my present 997.2 I drove "conservatively" for about 1k miles,....and even then I went to about 5k RPM often. After that I let it rip. IMO the 2k miles below 4k RPM is a bit too conservative, but I'm not one of the guys that likes to redline off of the dealers lot either.
