Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Porsche announces super-exclusive 911 Club Coupe Brewster Green, 430hp, 0-60Mph in 4 seconds, 20" wheels, aerokit with ducktail - $175k For $175k, I'd much rather a Turbo S Cabriolet. Actually for that price I think I'd rather 2 cars: Maybe a base 981 Boxster with PDK for my wife... since its a girl car!! And a loaded 981 Cayman S for me.

POST 2Original post

Pretty sweet car (love the color choices) except for the duck tail,...love it on the older cars, just doesn't seem to fit on the newer cars for me. Whatever the price, with only 12 released to the public it's sure to be a collectors item.

POST 3Original post

Sure but you could recreate this car as a paint to sample and add a couple of decals and do it for $50k less easily! Just stupid to pay that price and a collector who wants a 911 S with power kit and custom paint doesn't really understand what a collectible car is, regardless of how many they make. I saw on Top Gear where there is only 1 Opel Chevette automatic left in the UK. Is that collectible?

POST 4Original post

The whole thing is pretty cool, but I cannot even fathom spending that much on a car that you shouldn't drive (being a collectable and all). Though, there are plenty of folks out there that could write that check and not even think about it, so I won't even pretend to understand their mind set on this sort of thing...it's probably well worth the money to them. I would have a Turbo S PDK in a second over this, but again, with my financial restrictions, I would want something very fast and that I could/should drive in return for that much cash. This is probably much more appealing to the very wealthy than a normal 911 turbo.

POST 5Original post

Yeah, that's the point. To some this is a drop in the bucket. Same type of people who have a 12 car garage with Ferrari's, Lambos, Bentleys, etc. Heck if I was in that catagory I'd drop a dime for one just to say I had one.

POST 6Original post

Well the previous Speedster and the Sport Classic was passed $200k and it;s sold out.. why wonder? and the panamera turbo S is approaching $200k..lol!!! i'm with the OP.. turbo S or preowned Gt2 for me

POST 7Original post

$175k can get you a much better looking car (that one sets the bar pretty low).

POST 8Original post

Yep, for the price it should have a Turbo 500 hp or GT3 450hp (higher RPM NA) engine in it. If it had either of those then it would be unique and worthy of being a collectible car IMO.

POST 9Original post

Porsche 991 Club Coupe Special Edition Has anyone seen it. Only 13 will be made.

POST 10Original post

Used to be that the special editions and Club Sport or whatever were offered well into the model cycle. Not anymore.

POST 11Original post

And there are still 28 more options you could spend your $$$ on ... it could reach $185K or more... I love the color, the tail, the extra (normally aspirated) hp ... but a Turbo S or GT3RS is just as special.

POST 12Original post

Just wait til you see the 6 month anniversary model! Destined to be a classic.

POST 13Original post

My dealer has a Speedster that they can't seem to unload. The Sport Classic was another animal IMO though... I would have killed for that car.

POST 14Original post

Only Porsche can add a few parts to an ordinary car and charge $175K for it.

POST 15Original post

Only Porsche can add a steel top to a Boxster and charge more for it :hilarious: It is what it is and I'm willing to bet all were spoken for within 5 seconds of it being announced.
