I am sure this has been asked but... Is there a reliable (Free?) source of the original, as supplied new options list for my vehicle? Cheers Spart

1 matching discussions were examined; no attributable action/outcome evidence was detected. No consensus or repair conclusion is claimed.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I have the definitive set of options codes, just not how to find the ones that were fitted to my car when it was supplied new! I can't find any stickers under the bonnet etc. Cheers Spart
There's a copy of the sticker on the inside cover of your Service Book. If you haven't got that your only option is to give your VIN number to your friendly neighbourhood OPC. I'm pretty sure that all the old VIN look up sites are defunct.
Many thanks. I have the original service book but there is no sticker in it or in any of the books in the original leather folder etc. Yeah I have tried a few of the supposed VIN Decoder sites but they are all generic (Model Year etc.) Not specific to my car. WIll see if any of the dealers will provide this info, I doubt it but it's free to ask Cheers Spart
There should also be a VIL label / sticker under the bonnet on a 996 which will have the option codes on it
There are no stickers at all on the underside of the bonnet. Had a good look around, under plastics etc. Can't find any. Cheers Spart
