Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It's raining this morning for the first time in ages which turned my thoughts to traction control Back in the day when I had a couple of TT Supra's we used to junk the standard TC and fit Racelogic traction control which was excellent. Does anyone know if it's any good on a 911 or are there other recommendations or opinions? My car is a manual C2. Cheers, Phil Edit, found this but wondered if anyone has more recent experience? http://www.911uk.com/viewtopic.php?t=27008&highlight=racelogic

POST 2Original post

Hi Phil, Traction is not a subject that comes up very often on this forum, because the engine / gearbox placement takes care of that to a large extent;-) Perhaps see how it feels in slippery conditions before investing the money? Regards, LOJO

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Oddly enough after pinging it around today I was grinning from ear to ear - I was more worried from the perspective of hitting diesel/ice or whatever over the winter as it's my daily driver. I think I'll just continue to invest in good tyres Cheers! Phil

POST 4Original post

the only "moments" I have had associated with "traction" is lift off oversteer Pure traction control wont sort that...only better driving from me (or rely on the stability control :hand:
