Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

There are savings to be made...I saved about £7k on my 996 earlier in the year, you tend to find the extras are 10-15% cheaper than UK dealer prices, which is why most dealer imported cars offered at list, are loaded. The main thing with importing is the value of the £ vs the Euro....which after the Euros improvemrnt in the last few months is not a help right now..

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

having recently made huge savings on an imported merc from holland, i was wondering if the same could be made for a 996. does anyone know if prices are pretty much the same as in the uk, or if indeed there are savings to be had out there? any comments/info would be much appreciated thanks
