Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

I find it very interesting to read. Add to that the comments below the review. Very much like what we discuss here about the pricing structure of a model variants. Enjoy it: How Porsche Created The 911 Turbo Shitty: The 'S' Problem

POST 2Original post

It's a rant that is misguided and he obviously took next to no time to actually look deeper into what he was thinking. Even worse is he still tries to defend his original standpoint when it is picked to pieces....like saying Porsche dials down cars and then dials them up and uses the Turbo S > GT2 as an example, forgetting they are for very different customers and drive very very differently. It really is a silly rant, and on his thought process we may as well all drive around in a base Toyota Yaris as paying more for more is just criminal.

POST 3Original post

That article has been making the rounds for awhile. He has a point. There was a time you had the Turbo and that was it. The TT was the supercar. OTH, even other people on TTAC, other writers, don't really agree with his opinion. It's just another article meant to generate revenue and another opinion. I wouldn't worry about it.

POST 4Original post

Lol. Well, that's kinda true for most car manufacturers anyway. Nowadays car manufacturers slice and dice their variants up so much so there is a car at every price point. But that said, this doesn't make what I drive any different from before reading the article. So just enjoy your own car regardless of what people say
