Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi folks, I read somewhere that under the passenger seat is a fuse for the alarm that is sometimes the reason for alarm not working. There are 2 black boxes, a small and larger one but can't see s fuse to check?? Any help would be great thanks.

POST 2Original post

Thought this was going to be an insurance black box in a Porsche question. Figured that would be an interesting challenge.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It would probably have got more of a response too. Title must be too boring for people to bother with. Should have put "Black box" nsfw.

POST 4Original post

Message the in/house Tech 'DeMort', he'll sort you out.

http://www.911uk.com/viewtopic.php?t=117011&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=fuse+alarm According to the thread above there is a blue blade fuse sticking out of one of the black boxes. The thread also confirms what you have read somewhere about the alar control box being under the passenger seat.

POST 6Original post

The last post on this thread shows the position of the alarm fuse. http://www.911uk.com/viewtopic.php?t=81821&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=fuse+alarm
