Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Do you guys get any noise when you shift? Coming from the shifter? From the gate? From the gears? Anything? I get some noise gonig from 3 to 4... but I am not sure if its just normal shifting noise. I think it usually happens when i shift slower... shifting fast at high RPM's is usually smooth & pretty quiet...

POST 2Original post

Is it a "click", a "clunk" or something else? Some noises are reasonable, but anything that is loud is not normal.

POST 3Original post

Your cables probably need adjusting at the shifter.

POST 4Original post

You have been asking shifter questions since May. Might be time to have a mechanic look at it.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well, Its not a really loud sound, I dont hear it when the windows are down & im driving... but I also dont know if its considered a normal sound. I didnt notice it before, but I cant remember if it was there or if I just didnt notice it. Is is sort of a thud when coming out of 3rd & into 4th.
