Hi, Several friends have moved from 928's to the 996 and we get regular calls asking when we are going to do the 996 as a studio car (same for Cayenne). For the 928 and 944 the way we've been able to design products is to have the car for 4-6 months or more, taking the time to sketch, prototype, try things out, experience the car, etc. I am wondering which would be better to do first, the 996 or the Boxster? Are the interiors the same? Finally does either series have basically the same interior from 1999 to the intro of the 997? Thanks for your advice. Paul Jager www.jageng.com/garage9

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

do the 996...the boxster has basically the same interior ..the front fenders, bumpers and headlight are the same from 99-02 after the front of the 996 changed.
I just went from a 993 and a NSX to a 02 996 cab. I drove several of each and the boxster is a much better bargain but the 996 is a much better car from my limited expirence.
