Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just had a spare half hour and looking though EBAY at 911's, as you do, and came across this garbage (hopefully no-one on here - doubt it). Insurance write-off which has been hashed back together to form a right Frankenstein monster of a car. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2000-PORSCHE-...ewItemQQptZAutomobiles_UK?hash=item414a17287d Check out the shut lines of the front bonnet and the rear deck - criminal. The interior looks like a mismatch of blue, black and grey, and the mileage is stated as 63900 but when you look at the clocks it says 102k - LOL. Lets hope no-one on here bids for it - who in their right mind would?

POST 3Original post

ebay what a minger, really strange thing to do wide body shell just looks wrong :nooo:

POST 4Original post

The clock (odometer) must be displaying kms, as 102,000 kms is just over 63,300 miles. I prefer this one..... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Pors...3abQQitemZ130341536683QQptZUSQ5fCarsQ5fTrucks

POST 5Original post

Here's another little horror: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Blac...ewItemQQptZUS_Cars_Trucks?hash=item2c5173e979

POST 6Original post

20 bids so a few are keen, I hope the buyer doesn't join up here.

POST 7Original post

22 bids now.... I'm sure that bonnet shut line could knock 20 mph off the top speed :dont know:

POST 8Original post

Haha, nice one Richard, this one looks very MadMax!! Only in America!!!

POST 10Original post

I think the engine lid is off a narrow body car and the wings off a wide body hence the gap!

POST 11Original post

maybe start a new section on 911UK: "Just Bought A Minger? - Get Support Here"

POST 12Original post

Re: Just Looking Through EBAY & Found This 911 - Franken Do we need a new sub-forum for that Exhibit 1 Panel Gaps :hand:

POST 15Original post

Look at the wastegate actuator on this beast - it dwarfs the cylinder barrel on my old honda XL250..... I bet it spits flames better than a Dragon on speed Well, I see the original Carrera broke the £12k barrier............... :bandit:
