Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Shall I buy http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Porsche_911_3.8_... or this http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Porsche_911_3.8_... ECP say both are suitable.

POST 2Original post

What car is it for and what is the amps per hour rating of your current battery?

POST 4Original post

In that case the first one should be fine. The only exception to this is if the car has a large number of options fitted, in which case you may need the second higher a/ph one to compensate for the additional load. The a/ph rating on your current battery should clarify this though. Edited by Trev450 on Thursday 7th August 13:31

Phone module, heated seats, psm, rear wiper, BOSE, etc etc. OPC are saying not to buy one that is too powerful as it could burn out the alternator.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ive gone for the bigger one - £90 via ECP on Ebay (cheaper than ECP website!).
