Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi Everyone: New on this list and have a question. My 996 was missing the plastic covers for the seatbelt adjusters, and I got two of them at a wrecking yard. I cannot figure out how they mount, whether they screw-in (somehow) or are pressed into place. I have tried pressing them into place but they don't seem to have anywhere to catch. Has anyone else installed/reinstalled these and can they advise?

POST 2Original post

I just took these off last week and I remember there was a trick to it. Let me look at them again when I get home and I'll remember what it was.

POST 3Original post

They snap on, because I know I've knocked one off before. Are you sure they are the correct parts?
