Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My car is due its next service in Feb however I won't be using it through the winter so ideally would want to wait a month later when its back on the rd in spring. Does anyone know what the official line re servicing a car 1 month later then the schedule and ensuring I don't fall foul of the warranty requirements? I would call my local dealer but don't fancy waiting 30 mins to get through only to be told they don't know

POST 3Original post

Its a time or mileage warranty, they won't care where the car was on the date it was meant to have been serviced by, you have just given them the reason to decline your claim. The contracts are black and white.
