Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

14 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I went for a ride in a friends 2010 Turbo PDK and was blown away. It was fast and sure footed for sure, but when we use the launch control take-off a brave new world opened in front of me. I rode in plenty of Turbos, but they haven't been driven hard like that. The throttle response was very fast and the PDK really impressed me. I guess I need to start looking for a buyer for my kidneys.

POST 2Original post

LOL I however will NOT be looking for a PDK Turbo... maybe a 74' Carrera

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I guess that wouldn't suck either.

POST 5Original post

Amazing car. But sorry, I like to shift gears myself.

Yeah, but the big upside for Ed is that there are a lot more parts on ebay that won't fit a '74 Carrera, so he will be in "parts buying heaven."

POST 9Original post

I heard a bunch of fuss about the new pdk turb engine not being as over engineered as the last 09; model... anybody heard about that ? I think the engine is like half the price fi you want to buy one at the dealer or something... I just want to make sure that those kidneys are not sold to purchase the wrong turbo

POST 10Original post

all i have to say is $24k to swap the clutch and timing belt on a Ferarri and I will NEVER again say P-car motors are expensive.... maybe a bit pricey for some (including me) but

POST 11Original post

I'm sure the car is only better in many ways.

Wow Ed, you are 'regressing'...looking for that Porsche purity?

POST 14Original post

naw, I just cant afford to go forward... have to dream about something....If I learn enough I can put all these "spare pieces" together and build a 49', 50', 51', 52',... 53' 54', 55' automobile
