Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

17 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 3Original post

can't say i like it at all to be fair...looks like a Gembella / techart conversion on a 996 cabrio to make it into a speedster..Pretty special considering that it appears to have the Turbo vents in the body & Porsche are due to bring out their own Turbo in this body shell later this year.can only imagine this thing would cost a fortune to convert. First off I thought it was a Boxster but it has the drooping teardrop lights of the facelift 996.

It's an optional picnic table made by Uwe Gemballa >> Edited to add D'oh! three at once >> Edited by Bodo on Monday 6th January 15:21

POST 6Original post

Still going with the Gembella notion,,,,but odd to see the car in a Ruf colour. It seems too detailed & less pure to be a Ruf

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks - it just seemed so mad that I was interested in what the hell it was! PH'ers knowledge astounds me (and you lot must just sit there hitting "refresh" to spot it so quickly! Some of the other cabrio's on their site are just plain errrr - but I quite liked this one.. :getscoatandleaves: J

POST 9Original post

Roy is spot on it's definitely by Uwe Gemballa. He's signed the numberplate!! It's a 996 cab based turbocharged car. Could have anything upto 650ish bhp depending on owners requirements. DAZ
