Car: 2006 997 S Ticket So here is a fun one got pulled over last night by a port authority cop saying I launched my car too fast from a light. It was 20degrees outside and in 200ft I was at 29mph. Anyone happen to know off hand what speed you might be going if you get a good launch in 200ft? Best part his line to me as he walked away was you embarrassed me by doing that next to me, it wont happen again. Anyways next is the tick and hoping you dont say IMS 1st gear only, accelerating hear a tick. Put in 2nd OR just push clutch in and no tick. Last time I took it to dealer they said they couldnt hear it. It was under warranty then not now.....

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Not likely IMS if you hear it in gear and then out (clutch depressed)...
