I recently purchased my first Porsche, a 2000 C2. $39k w/ Porsche certified warranty, 35k miles. I'm a happy camper. Question: After purchase I found that the left side of the pedal mat (below floormat, near pedals) had come unglued and has curled up a bit. So... this begs the question: 1. Can it be fixed, if so how? 2. Is there some cool metal mat or something aftermarket to replace it? Help a newb out. -Mike

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

If it is coming up in a small area, I think you could glue it back into place. Hot glue might work pretty well depending on the composition of the substrate material. You can also get Heel Guards (see the bottom of this ebay link). http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsc...QQcmdZViewItem or this one from Ultimate Pedals http://www.ultimatepedals.com/catalo...oducts_id=2766 I have also seen larger floor plates made from aluminum.
Just the advise I wanted, thanks gota911!
