Hello, There's a group buy going on for the 1.2L and 2L mantissport deep sumps. These products fit all MY96/97 and 9A1 engines and offer strong protection against catastrophic engine failure as a result of oil starvation under long fast turns that was a documented problem on all 996/ 997.1 cars. Real track data is provided to back up claims. There may not be a 100% 'silver bullet' solution, but three are many members who have successfully tracked their cars without issue using this product. For 9A1 cars it offers additional protection for track work. Ken has given this GB the go ahead, the original post was in the 987 Cayman forum - it's easier to keep all interest there, just mention what car you are buying for.
