I know most members here don't care about 0-60 figures but still it makes us proud to see our Supercar 918 and Benchmark turbo S at the top of the list: List of fastest production cars by acceleration - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

It wasn't that many years ago when anything under 5 secs was considered awesome. The new standard is anything under 3 secs which is mind blowing.
Also note from your post that Porsche consistently understates their 0-60 times unlike many of the other competitors. Here is another good web site that provides that data for most other Porsche models. I think it is pretty accurate. Porsche 0-60 Times & Porsche Quarter Mile Times | Porsche 911 Carrera, 928, 944 Turbo, Boxster, Cayman & more 0 to 60 stats!
^ these figures depressed me, Subshooter
Interesting stats, unfortunately they do not say who the "reliable" sources are but the 0-60 time for the '99 Boxster is 14.8 and my Tip turned a 15.2 with all my street junk in it so it's probably as accurate as any poll statistic. The list has a RUF Boxster on it and I've never seen one, has anyone here seen one or read about it somewhere?
Here is the one that I remember seeing a few years ago, but I suspect there are others as well. 2006 Ruf Boxster 3.8S X51 Conversion: Nothing Alien About Ruf X51 | Autoweek Cheers,
