Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Hi This subject have probably been addressed before but I can't find the right post. I just bought a used 2005 Boxster S that has the Bose radio. I would like to upgrade the system to a touch screen system (what is the best system) with GPS, bluetooth, phone integration.... I would like to keep the existing amp if possible, and do this project by myself. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks

I've been looking to do this myself, to my 2008 Cayman S . I came across a Russian made unit called MOST-AMP that claims to have solved the fader issue and eliminates any need to direct-wire the rear speakers to the HU. Unfortunately, I have absolutely no idea if this thing is any good or not. Maybe someone with experience with it will weigh in. I'd be interested in whether it works as claimed, and of course how it sounds. Here are some links. The second one has a great price, but it looks like you have to deal directly with the distributor in Russia.
