At the time of purchase, my dealer informed me that I would be receiving a CPO welcome package from Porsche. After 2 months, I called PNA and they informed me that they are no longer responsible for mailing these out and that I would need to contact the dealer. I called the dealer and they simply sent an 8.5x11, hard stock PRECERTIFIED CERTIFICATE. Is this what I am supposed to be getting? I have a feeling I'm not getting the full package. Thoughts?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I bought my CPO car in 10/05, and I received a small flat aluminum box with a few brochures, one of which briefly described the CPO warranty. No "certificate". Nothing special at all.
I got two (no aluminum box) in the mail after I bought my car 2 yrs ago. It had an outdated dealer list and some explanation of the CPO and what it covered.A drivers collection catalogue. Also got some wallet cards that had the 1800 PORSCHE on it. In case I didn't know who to call when the cloud of white smoke came out of the rear end.
Same here, but I got the aluminum box as well. You're not missing anything as long as you can memorize 1 800 PORSCHE.
Bought my CPO last July, received the aluminum box in October.
Same here - I bought the car in July, and I got the aluminium box in October. But the bottom line is (800) PORSCHE (and have the VIN handy).
Well I didn't get an aluminum box . but I did get a free RMS change.
I win! I got the box and the RMS change. Seriously, the stuff in the box is fluff, unless you NEED some $50 Porsche cuff links. When the dealer brings up your car's VIN in their system for service, it will show the CPO.
The most IMPORTANT thing is to make sure your dealer actually paid PCNA for the CPO warranty. If it si NOT in the system you do NOT have it. Verify and make sure or you could get screwed in the long run.
Sounds like I'm missing the box. I got verification that I have warranty until 1/2009, so I'm OK there. I called Porsche again to bitch about the "kit." If I have one coming to me, I don't care how trivial it is...I want it. BTW, RMS fixed before receiving the car. LOL.
