Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

I'm working on installing a new stereo in my new-to-me non- Bose 2006 Boxster and am wondering what the collective wisdom is regarding where to connect the switched (key-on) power connection. After reading about a hundred posts, I haven't seen any recommendations. Thanks in advance, - Eric H., Marietta, GA

Any switched fuse will do. Most usee B9. Same as a 987.2. And this is how to do it. http://www.planet-9.com/members/levinsje-28510-albums-inline-fuse-for-b9.html Also see http://www.planet-9.com/987-cayman-and-boxster-electronics/81770-retaining-key-sense-aftermarket-head-unit-install.html?highlight=add-a-fuse
