Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Anyone have suggestions on which mic is best for cellphone use? I'm upgrading my older AVIC stereo unit and would like a better mic since the one I already have (which is not the pioneer one it came with but a different and better after market option at the time) everyone complains about! Probably getting an AppRadio so hopefully there have been improved mics since mine was installed nearly 7 years ago (to the left of the rearview mirror). thanks...06 Cayman S w/o built in phone mic prep. (if that matters?!)

POST 2Original post

FWIW, When I replaced my HU I mounted my phone/BT mic just underneath the instrument Panel. Others tell me it works fine... It was a cheap mic that came with the radio
