I'm a new owner of a 2009 Boxster 2.9l when closing the doors there is a clunk, it looks as coming from the door mechanism. The passenger door makes less clunk. Is it normal wear and tear. Both doors have fine hinges. I'm a little reluctant to remove the door inside panel. Any help would be appreciated.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Normal. Caused by the mechanism to lower/raise the window when the door is opened. You might want to try recalibrating the window motor so it knows exactly where the window should be when it is fully closed. The process is in the owner's manual. Very similar to all the German cars I've owned. I don't have my manual nearby.
