Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

I've tried to find info on this on the forum, I know it's been a topic. My car is a 2006 987-1 Boxster S I've been quoted these parts. Can anyone say if they're correct. I'm in Canada if it matters! Kenwood DNR475s Nav-TV Interface NAV-TV - Interfacing the Future Thanks

POST 2Original post

You should call Rod at Car Audio Innovations. You may not need all the functionality that the Nav-TV comes with and might can get away with less expensive options. Rod also has custom mounts designed to make installations better/easier. Car Audio Innovations Porsche Audio Upgrades

Thanks, contacted him and things proceeding! Appreciated

POST 4Original post

If you want to keep your Bose amp , then you will need a Fibre adapter between the head unit and the amp. The NAV-TV is an expensive option. There are cheaper Chinese options available that seem to work as good as Nav-TV. You can also replace your Bose amp with a 5-channel amp without a loss in sound quality.

POST 5Original post

Thanks, have it in the hands of Rod at Car Audio Innovations. Sound quality not a biggie as the hood is always down except now when the car is wrapped up for winter!
