A few hiccups along the way, but installation was very straight forward. The most annoying and time consuming part is just accessing the engine on the Boxster . The Prosport gauge is a perfect fit in place of the useless stopwatch. https://amzn.to/2wrTJHw Monitoring oil pressure is one of the most crucial things on boxer engines, so I really don't understand why Porsche didn't make a pressure gauge factory on these cars.
Does that “ear” stay on all the time or is it removable. Kinda looks out of place. Easy mod
You can mount it wherever you want. The curvature is designed to mounted on the side of the gauge and it only came with about 4" of wring, but this would be easy to extend and relocate.
