Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Car about to go on AA flatbed up to Hartech to confirm my suspicions about the death rattle that started out the blue on Tuesday while sitting in rush-hour traffic (luckily only 500 metres from my office car park) car still starts and runs fine - apart from the cemtent mixer noise - and so hope to have cuaght it before it went properly "new-engine" terminal Merry Christmas everyone (else)

POST 2Original post

well bud things can hopefully get better ! nadolig llawen

POST 3Original post

Oh dear, fingers crossed the damage is not too bad. Not good news just before Christmas..

POST 5Original post

Sorry to hear that but hope it is sorted easily for you. Out of curiousity is yours a 3.4 or a 3.6 and what is the mileage?

POST 7Original post

Hopefully not terminal and you get it back soon... :what:

POST 8Original post

Once again rotten luck just before Xmas. :nooo: Hopefully its just the IMS bearing or something and you've caught it before anything terminal happened, all the best with it.

POST 9Original post

Sorry to hear of your trouble Guy, but at least that's a hopeful sign. Fingers crossed - and it's going to the best place for this type of thing.

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

thanks for the kind words... I just seem to have bad luck with this one. It's a 3.4 with 67,000 on the clock but the great reputation of Hartech means I am looking on the brightside.

POST 11Original post

Aw, bummer man, i hope you get it sorted soon, you and lexy can share a sausage roll for xmas dinner,,, (only joking) good luck.

POST 12Original post

Hi Pontypool, I can feel your pain - I really hope you get some good news. Hopefully you can get sorted and you've caught it early. Cheers
