Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Oh jeez man, the archives are beckoning urgently. You'd run out of paper long before you printed out all the threads here that address those questions substantively.
Start looking around here and you'll get your answer. Apart from that ... you should DEFINITELY purchase a Cayman S. One magazine (Road & Track, maybe) said the Cayman S is likely Car of the Decade .
How much time have you got? Just do a search on almost any topic, and it will return more than you'll have time to read. Welcome
I can't answer if you should buy one or not...only you can knowing your own needs and desires. Performance upgrades in a nutshell: Catback, headers, Evo filter, flash, de-snork mod, short shifter, springs, etc etc. Search any of these and you should find alot of info on what brands, costs etc. Visual: tint, wheels, bodykits, spoilers, springs, etc etc. My choice: AWE catback, Milltek headers, GIAC flash, Evo filter. But there are multitudes of others! Happy reading
thanks guys. i know i should have done the searching thing first, i was just getting kinda frustrated from searching on the web for stuff. seems like there is almost no info on upgrading anything but the 911 Turbo's. Still don't know if i want a cayman or a boxster though. awesome look of the cayman, or top-down cruising with the boxster? ah well... thanks again. i'm sure i will be bugging you guys about something else soon.
Don't forget the real reason to buy the Porsche....it's great just the way it is driven off of the lot. You can modify any car; how about a blown Civic Si with Nitrous? My point is that the Cayman or the Boxster are both fantastic cars. If you want to tinker after buying, there is a long list of options limited only by your imagination and wallet. If you are contemplating modifications, buy a used Cayman as keeping the car factory and matching the sicker/one owner/ light mileage thing is't your goal. You can put the money you save on the purchase into those mods you desire. Good luck!
