Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Why does the onboard computer stalk operates counter-intuitively, that is push away from you to confirm action? Every other control in cars works the other way around, i.e. you push towards you to flash headlights, wash your windscreen, even to swap gears in semi-auto boxes (ooops, Porsche doesn't do it like this to...). Just a minor nuissance but an (un)ergonomic avoidable issue me thinks. I keep going backwards and forward because of this.

POST 2Original post

Agreed on this gripe. It's a little thing, but I always take way longer than I feel I should to get stuff reset. The stalk in the Cayenne works differently, and is frankly more intuitive.

POST 3Original post

That's German Engineering for you. You could always re-wire the switch, but then the decals on the switch will be wrong..... Doh!!
