Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello everyone and happy New Years, I have a question! My 2002 porsche 911 3.6 Carrera has oxygen sensors before the catalytic converter but not after, so the car had only 2 oxygen sensors before catalytic converter! Does that mean I can remove my catalytic converter without getting and engine light or error? I assumed so as there is no sensors after it, but I thought id ask your advice guys! Thank you so much

POST 2Original post

Custom exhaust? My 2003 has 4, two in front two after.

POST 3Original post

Your car should have four O2 sensors. Two pre-cat and two post-cat. Take a picture of the O2 wiring connectors. They are grey housings with red locking tabs located on each side of the engine bay.
