Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have heard mixed parts on facelifting my 2001 C4 Cab. I bought a new factory bumper cover, I believe it is the turbo front bumper cover for a 02-2004 996, see picture... I was told the 01 Headlights will work, then not, I was also told the fenders needed to be changed, then I was told not... Does anyone know for sure what I need to get to make this cover work? I dont want to take the car apart and have to wait on additional parts when I could ask now and have everything I need there... Thanks

Porsche has a free online parts catalog, you can easily compare part numbers vs year to answer those questions. I believe the headlights are different on the turbo and 2002+ vs the older cars.

Hi bro, your bumper is for 996.2 MKII 911, so it does not fit your MKI 996.1, the curve of the headlight area is different. If you want to sell your bumper, I want to buy it, or trade, I have a prime 996.1 front bumper laying in my garage now. Text me if you are interested bro. I sent you a pm.
