Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So, my PSE was becoming reluctant to go quiet, only working occasionally. After poking about, decided to do it properly and I've removed the bumper and heat shield and I found that my OS actuator has become detached from the bracket- the little bolts have rusted through. Unless it's perfectly lined up the rod won't move, but the actuator works ok when held in place. Fixing it in place with some sort of metal band would be an option, but really I think the best thing to do would be to replace it with a Design Tec one for £45 (assuming it'll fit). But the question is, how on earth do you get the actuator out from the bracket? I've had a look and can't see an easy way. Surely you don't have to take the silencer off?
