Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1389339.htm :? :what: :nooo:

POST 3Original post

£18,000 for all that spec? So what is the catch, 150,000 on the clock? CatD? Cant be arsed to check myself, but if anyone finds out then please let us know.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

That wasn't my point.....The colour combo :yuk: By as quoted "Each to their own" If anyone owns on here the no offence. Just not my thing (as stated very different :what: )

POST 5Original post

No offence taken (although mine is a yellow C2 Cab, but thankfully without all the wannabee GT3 stuff) I was just wondering why all that spec is up for a mere £18,000.

POST 6Original post

I think that the seller is simply being realistic - I don't think that anyone would argue that it is not something that would appeal to the tastes of the mainstream. Consequently they have a simple choice : price to sell or sit and wait and hope that someone eventually comes along for a higher price. Malton eventually sold the famous pink Boxster for a premium price, but it took them ages... Just MHO of course, but I think that my logic is sound. Though even at that money I wouldn't be surprised if that one sat on the market for a while.

POST 7Original post

When I initially read "first to see will buy" I chuckled to myself. But then I suppose he is right because most people will be put off by the photos. When you spec most new cars, certain combinations aren't available for precisely this reason. With the help of the Porsche Special Order, it goes to show that you can't buy taste. I would of thought the £18K asking price is to reflect the colour is it not?

sick :floor: looks like my 5 year old daughter has coloured my car in,sorry guys but that is probally the worste colour cobo i hav ever seem, looks like some one has gutted a canary.

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Exactly my thoughts....That's why I posted in the 1st place!! :floor: No offence meant to yellow cars. Actually really like them but it's the interior & all the gt3 add on bit's I don't like. :nooo: I Actually thought 18k was allot to ask!! :dont know:

POST 11Original post

I've just had another look. I don't really have an issue with the GT3 bits, as there are plenty of C2s on here with factory GT3 add ons. I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall on hand-over day when the new owner came to collect it from the dealer. I wonder if deep down the new owner thought they had made a mistake.

POST 12Original post

I think it's the GT3 insignia which is the problem. This car has been discussed here before, hasn't it? Edit: here it is: http://911uk.com/viewtopic.php?t=49181 Big thread on Pistonheads about it too.

POST 13Original post

Each to there own i guess but it looks terrible! (sorry if the owner is on here!)

POST 14Original post

Surely a typo - 'first to see will cry' seems far more appropriate...

POST 15Original post

I like the pastel yellow (on the outside), but nothing else though. Even if it was a more conventional colour scheme, £18k is a bit strong for a 98,000 miler of that age.
