Guys are we sure that the cable in question is on the drivers side of the car. I've been raking about for hours now and still cannot find it? I can reach the headlight and everything but still cannot feel or see the cable? Any ideas? :?:

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Erm someone said DRIVERS side afterwards.... :?
found this on another forum:
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: If the car has MECHANICAL RELEASE LEVERS the emergengy cable is on the PASSENGER side. If the car has ELECTRIC RELEASE BUTTONS the emergency cable is on the DRIVER'S side. And just to complete the loop: http://911uk.com/viewtopic.php?t=50140&start=3
