Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Well, we've been burning the midnight oil in the engine department. I meant to put this out earlier in the week when we had one of every size on the shelf, ready to ship. A stock 996 3.4L sold at the end of the week, so I'm a jellybean short of Porsche Crate Motor Party. We just finished a performance build 996 3.8L ('99-'01) that may be of interest to those of you who do a little track time. .4L displacement bump, Carrillo rods, machined crank & heads and rod & main bearing clearances to our spec are some highlights. Drop us a line with any questions. :burnout:
