Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Can somebody tell me where to find the missing part: I found this on the Pelican Parts site, but I'm trying to figure out if this is correct. Is there something broken still in my light that needs to be dug out before popping this part in?? Without removing the other one off the car to look, I was hoping somebody here could help me out. Thanks!

POST 2Original post

You need that whole part, it is the headlamp washer. It didn't get stolen, its pretty common for the cap to fail and disappear.....

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well that sucks. I see what looks like a red o-ring in the photo. Does that whole do-jigger just pull out?

POST 4Original post

I just had this happen recently. Replace it and never use the headlight washer again. Its a common problem.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have never used them. I don't think they even work. Heck, I thought those silver caps were just some sort of decoration. Now I have to pay $67 for some junk piece of plastic to cover the hole? Stupid Toyota. Maybe I will just cut out a circle of polished aluminum and bond it on.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
