Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My 911 gives loud hum noises from the Bose speakers constantly - even when radio is on and even when the ignition is switched off (about in 2 minutes - then stopped) - what is the root to this error?? - Anyone with same experience??.

POST 2Original post

Turn the sound down. (sorry I could not resist)

POST 3Original post

If it does it for 2 minutes after it is switched off I would guess it is either something that has a time delay or a charged capacitor. I would pull the battery cable and see if it keeps making noise. If it does I would say it has to be a capacitor charged that is keeping the noise going. If it does keep making the noise after disconnecting the battery I would guess the amp would be the cause but may be something else too.
