Can someone confirm whether this car is adopting the ride height of a car on M030 or is it lower? It's my car, but I'm trying to work out if the car matches up to the M030 option code or whether the previous owner changed the set up. :dont know: The trouble I'm having coming out of multi-story car parks makes me wonder if it really is a 10mm drop from standard? :?: Thanks in advance

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

tough one, as over time the weight of the car means the ride height does drop you would need to see if you can spot any part numbers to be sure
measure i hav m030 and aero kit so if you measure from say under indicator at bottom of splitter to floor i will do same and can compare for you.
Re: measure Thanks Patgas, that's very kind of you, I measured from the bottom of the indicator light to the floor at it came out as 52cm (see pic with red line for what I mean). Hope that makes sense.
996 C2 2001 lowered with eibach springs before I bought it by what I thought was 2.5cm (or 25mm) Measurement of mine is 50cm (the red line on your photo) Occasionally the two flaps behind the front wheel arches (thin plastic flexible air deflectors) catch the ground but not very often.
ooooh gonna do mine in the morning and see!! I scrape every time i come down a multi storey ramp and just laugh when everyone turns round in horror and winces expecting me to be doing the same!! Learnt the first day that it's no use being precious about the front lip, gonna happen all the time so can't lose sleep over it these days. But a ding in the door would be a disaster!! :x which is why my 10 year old baby still gets put in the corner at tescos, screw Swayze I put baby in the corner!!
noooop porschenoob sounds like you hav different suspension mate from under indicator like you pictured on mine is 54cm and from top of arch on rear to floor is 66.5cm,seems like yours is lowered about 30mm hope that helps.

Re: noooop Hmmm I thought that must be the case as the amount of hassle I'm having doesn't correspond to just a 10mm drop. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this for me - I owe you a virtual pint. Would taking the car back to M030 suspension reduce ride harshness from where my suspension is today?
