Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I think this is an optional extra across the range......
You're pushing your luck! Next you'll want air in the tyres Seriously, whilst it it a legally mandated requirement on the continent to have a first aid kit (which is supplied to be road legal at point of sale), here in Blighty it is a legally mandated requirement to have your face ripped off when a car is supplied at point of sale. This is a responsibility PCGB take very seriously. ie it's optional, put you hand back in your wallet and pay up! This may not apply to more recent vehicles (as harmonisation has occured), but certainly 996 were devoid as standard. As for location, as it is held in or near spare wheel, depends on C2/C4 etc. C2: FA kit either behind wheel cover inside spare wheel centre, or if slimline modern replacement, in cover front pocket. C4: FA kit either in wheel centre or tucked besides it (both under boot false floor). Again depends on style of FA kit and/or tyre compressor supplied.
I recently did a first aid course with a paramedic Doctor and we opened up a first aid kit such as you would find in a car. The conclusion we came to was it was pretty much useless unless you had a cut finger or a hangover. The only real useful item was the triangular bandage for supporting limbs. If you put a First aid kit in your car, do put some ASPIRIN [not paraceptamol or nurofen!] in as it can save someones life in the case of a heart attack. TB
Make your own: Vinyl gloves. Resus shield in case "rescue breaths"/CPR required at accident scene Triangular bandages for limb immobilisation (arm slings/ leg splinting) and control of bleeding. Soluble aspirin for reasons stated by tbrown, but be prepared to be sued if you administer it to someone! (Preferable to give it to them and let them put it under their own tongue) Safety pins, blunt end scissors. What have I forgotten here medico chaps?
Stickie plasters  TB
Oh dear, am I out of line? Apologies. Shutting up now, sir!
Not at all only taking the p. I've got two first aid kits in the house and one in the car, and the only thing I've ever used is the stickie plasters....touch wood. TB
